CreateCATT is run by pioneer occupational therapist, creative arts and play therapist and educator Caroline Essame and her board of directors. Supported by a mixed discipline of team of Advisors, Consultants and Partners from Asia and the UK.

Caroline Essame is the founder, owner and managing director of CreateCATT- Singapore and UK. She is a British occupational therapist and creative arts therapist, and has a Masters in education specialising in play based learning. She has worked for over 30 years in the field of creativity and human development, with experience in health and education in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the UK and India. She pioneered South East Asia’s first Masters programme in art therapy, the first creative arts centre in Malaysia for children with autism, and she runs a clinical practice for children with special needs in Singapore. She is visiting creative arts and play consultant for Deepti special school in Kerala, India and an advisor for the Romanian Association for Play Therapy and Dramatherapy.  She is also a practising artist, mother of three and a seasoned international trainer.

Caroline Clay– CreateCATT Consultant/Director UK is a occupational therapist with over 30 years’ experience in disability, welfare, health, education and management.  She has worked as a senior manager and has won a leadership award for innovative practice within health and social care. She works with children with extreme challenges in the UK, is a trained neuro-linguistic practitioner and sensory processing specialist. Caroline is a personal development coach, a mentor for best practices in health and welfare services, and Chair of the Candle for India Charitable Trust which supports special needs services in India.

Dr Andrew Duffy

Dr Andrew Duffy is an assistant professor of journalism studies at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He has worked in communication for over 28 years, and has a PhD in communications and new media from the National University of Singapore. His undergraduate degree is in English from the University of Oxford, and he worked as a journalist and editor for 15 years. In the UK, corporate clients have included Chrysler, Thomas Cook and the Automobile Association. In Singapore since 2001, he has trained executives from OCBC, the Singapore Armed Forces, the Ministry of Manpower, and the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre. A communications expert he works on issues of trust and storytelling in social media. He is the Director of Communications for CreateCATT.
